Sumptuastic is among the ten performers who will compete for the chance to take part in the competition for the “Amber Nightingale” at this year’s Sopot Festival, organised by TVN television.
“We qualified with our premiere song ‘Za jeden uśmiech Twój’, which you will be able to hear on Radio Zet from 5 June. Of course, you will be able to vote for it so that we can meet at the beginning of September on the stage of the Forest Opera in Sopot,” says Andrzej Janusz, the band’s leader.
From 5 to 23 June, it will be possible to vote for Sumptuastic on Radio Zet. The five performers who receive the largest number of votes will take part in the semi-final concert on the stage of the Forest Opera in Sopot.
Taking part in the festival qualifiers is not the band’s only recent success. Sumptuastic is also among the top ten performers whose songs are participating in the “Hit na mundial” competition. This is the first competition for an official song accompanying the Poland national football team at the World Cup, which will take place in Germany in June and July 2006.
