The arrest took place on February 7 at approximately 3:44 p.m. in Mysłakowice. Police officers from Kowary stopped a car for a traffic check; two men from Kowary, aged 31 and 32, were travelling in it. The officers detected the smell of marijuana inside the vehicle. Not without reason: the 32-year-old passenger was carrying a bag containing—quite a lot, to put it mildly—nearly 0.5 kg of marijuana. Moreover, the driver had a small quantity of amphetamine on him.
Both men were taken into police custody. The officers are thoroughly investigating all the circumstances of the case. The younger of the detainees faces up to 3 years in prison. The older man could be imprisoned for as many as 10 years.
