14-Year-Old Arrested for Stealing a Woman’s Handbag

Police detained a minor suspected of stealing a woman’s handbag. His haul included documents, money, jewelry, a mobile phone and other small items. The victim estimated her losses at more than 10,000 zlotys.

The theft took place on January 10 this year in the vestibule of one of the county’s churches. The 14-year-old was walking along the street when he noticed that the woman was alone there. Taking advantage of the fact that the victim was praying, the teenager went inside and stole her handbag. His haul included property worth more than 10,000 zlotys: money, a mobile phone, documents and jewelry.

The teenager will answer for his actions before the family court.
