As Andrzej Szymkowiak, director of the Municipal Roads Authority, reports, the investor is the Wojewódzkie Przedsiębiorstwo Energetyki Cieplnej in Legnica, which is carrying out the project in accordance with the MRA's recommendations. WPEC excavated the pavement on Grunwaldzka Street while replacing the heating pipeline in this part of the city. The new pavement is already being restored using new materials. The surface is being constructed from granite slabs and paving blocks, whose material quality reflects the historic character of this part of the city.
As an interesting detail, it is worth adding that work to replace the pipes was also carried out in the roadway of Grunwaldzka Street. Thanks to the use of modern technologies, however, it was not necessary to remove the street surface. It should be added that similar work had previously been carried out on Elizy Orzeszkowej Street, near the District Prosecutor's Office. The pavement was also renovated there.
