The accident took place on Monday, February 2, at the intersection of Wesoła and Dolne Młyny in Bolesławiec. At around 6:40 a.m., the driver of a Renault Laguna, traveling from the direction of the fire station, failed to give way to a woman who was crossing at a pedestrian crossing.
The 38-year-old resident of Gromadka was taken to hospital. She suffered serious injuries. The Laguna driver—a 57-year-old man from Bolesławiec—was sober.
Investigators are determining the cause of the accident.
