“Our eighteenth birthday is long behind us; we have also celebrated our twentieth and several subsequent birthdays. Time flows inexorably, however, and another, this time round, anniversary lies ahead of us. Habakuk is turning 25. We decided to celebrate this anniversary in the way we like best—that is, by meeting with you!” – the artists wrote on the Facebook profile of the band.

Habakuk’s first album, “Mniam mniam rege,” released in 1999, is still considered one of the most important Polish reggae albums, while the song “Rasta Trans” is regarded as the unofficial anthem of the scene. Over the course of a quarter-century, Habakuk has also undertaken many interesting musical projects. Among other things, it recorded the album “A ty siej,” featuring songs by Jacek Kaczmarski in a... reggae version.
