The crime took place on January 26, at around 5:00 p.m. A 20-year-old resident of Jelenia Góra broke into the premises of one of the local companies and stole three liquid-crystal monitors, six computer towers and four mobile phones. The victim estimated the losses at nearly PLN 2,500.
Police recovered all the stolen property (the 20-year-old hid some of the equipment in a storage room and some in his own apartment).
The man was taken into police custody. He confessed to the crime. He now faces up to 10 years in prison.
