A 19-year-old resident of Jelenia Góra was arrested during the night of January 19–20 in the Zabobrze district. He was caught shortly after breaking into and stealing a Fiat 126p. He explained that he wanted to sell the car for scrap.
What is more, it emerged that the teenager had committed several other offenses, including the theft of plastic containers and breaking into a basement. The victims’ losses amounted to several thousand złotys.
The Jelenia Góra resident now faces up to 10 years in prison.
