We have already seen the first day of the Bolesławiec Ceramic Festival. Once again, the organisers opted for the tried-and-tested format of a traditional local fair, popular with the residents of Bolesławiec. The ceramics stalls set up in the Market Square are attracting considerable interest, and not only with ceramics from our town. Many exhibitors are presenting their products, and it must be admitted that there is no shortage of variety. In addition to functional ceramic vessels made by local factories, visitors can also find necklaces and angels.
Taking advantage of an excellent promotional opportunity, many vendors are offering goods completely unrelated to ceramics—Indian incense, fairground toys, and, of course, sweets.
The organisers assumed that people like what they know best. The festival programme is no different from that of previous years, but judging by the number of people who appeared yesterday around Plac Piłsudskiego and the Market Square, the residents of Bolesławiec seem to like it. That is why, once again, an antiques fair, a ceramic parade and, of course, concerts by star performers have been organised.
