Police officers from the Municipal Police Headquarters in Jelenia Góra arrested a 26-year-old man from Jelenia Góra suspected of a series of thefts. The man had been carrying out his activities since December last year. He robbed a post office, three pharmacies and a grocery store.
Each time, the scenario was the same: wearing a silicone mask over his face, the thief distracted the staff and stole cash (his total haul amounted to several tens of thousands of zlotys).
The suspect was placed in police custody. He faces up to five years in prison.
