The arrest took place on January 19 at around 4:30 a.m. On one of the streets of Jelenia Góra, officers noticed a Jaguar. Its driver—a 26-year-old resident of Jelenia Góra—began behaving nervously when he saw the police. The man tried to hide something. As it turned out, he was holding two ziplock bags containing drugs. What is more, officers found another one in the car. In total, approximately 30 commercial portions of marijuana and amphetamine were seized.
The 26-year-old was taken to police custody. Police are investigating all the circumstances of the case, including where the drugs came from and whether the resident of Jelenia Góra was dealing them. The detainee faces up to three years in prison.
