Volga Yerafeyenka is a Belarusian writer living in Warsaw. As a child, she became fascinated by the voice of the outstanding singer and to this day remains a great admirer of her talent. It was precisely the desire to learn about the places where Anna German lived that brought her to Poland.
The book "Anna German. Smile..." is a collection of the singer’s statements and memories shared by her friends and colleagues. It presents the image of a beautiful person: a cheerful woman, kind towards others, full of self-distance and able to laugh despite life’s adversities.
The invited guests also had the opportunity to watch the documentary film "Anna German. Echo of Love". The meeting was accompanied by a mini-exhibition devoted to the famous artist.
The main organizer of the meeting was the C.K. Norwid Municipal Public Library in Bolesławiec.
