The exhibition “From the Collection of the Bolesławiec Cultural Centre–International Ceramics Centre” has been divided into two parts. At the W Sam Raz Gallery (Forum Cinema), visitors can see ceramic sculptural forms, both small works and large-scale pieces created during the International Ceramic and Sculptural Plein-Air Workshops in Bolesławiec.
The exhibits will also include paintings from the collection of the Bolesławiec Cultural Centre–International Ceramics Centre. These will mainly be abstract compositions made using oil-painting techniques. The exhibition will be complemented by reliefs, mosaics and artworks by artists who took part in projects with local and international reach.
The second part of the exhibition will be arranged at the Mała Biała Gallery (BOK-MCC, ground floor). It will feature designer works created during the Bolesławiec plein-air workshops. They represent a veritable spectrum of possibilities offered by industrial design. Visitors to the exhibition will find designs not only for functional ceramics, but also inspiration in the designer form itself.
Works held by BOK-MCC are being presented in two newly named galleries. The exhibition can be visited until 1 March 2015.
