The arrest took place on January 13 this year, although the 25-year-old resident of Zgorzelec had been carrying out his activities since August last year. He broke into a machine at a car wash in Zgorzelec, stealing PLN 400; he also broke into apartments, mainly stealing televisions and home appliances, as well as garages, from which he stole a quad, and shops, where he took branded chainsaws worth more than PLN 8,000.
He told police that he stole because he needed “a few coins.” He now faces up to 10 years in prison.
