On Friday, the voivodeship qualifiers for the National Fire Knowledge Tournament were held in the assembly hall of Primary School No. 1. Seventy young people from across Lower Silesia took part in the qualifiers; they were the winners of county-level stages. The competition consisted of written and oral sections. In the Primary School category, Violetta Rupa from Góra won. Among middle school students, Przemysław Fijałkowski from Wrocław took first place. In the upper-secondary school category, Radosław Chachlowski from Świdnica was the best. Unfortunately, the finalists did not include any representatives of Bolesławiec County.
The winners of the competition received diplomas and attractive prizes. These included televisions and DVD players. The winners of Friday’s qualifiers will represent our voivodeship in the national tournament.
