The film “Karolina” is inspired by the life of Blessed Karolina Kózkówna. It is a warm and thoughtful story about the desires and choices of young people, as well as the problems and dilemmas faced by adults.
The film tells the story of Kaśka and Magda, who are graduating from film high school. Amid having fun and enjoying life, they must also find time to prepare for the final exam awaiting them. Their task is to make a short film. They come across the story of a rural girl from 100 years ago who was senselessly killed. Willingly or not, they set off for Zabawa, where their heroine, Karolina Kózkówna, lived and died.
