The ground-floor gallery in the BOK-MCC building is being given the name “Mała Biała,” while the other, previously known as the “Galeria Długa,” will, following the adaptation of part of it into a new cinema hall, operate as the “Galeria w sam raz.” The idea for this name was born in October 2014, during the first opening of an exhibition in the new interior, featuring works by Bolesławiec resident Jolanta Duszy.
BOK-MCC invites you to the first exhibition opening of the year, “From the BOK-MCC Collection,” which will take place on January 23 at 6:00 p.m. Works will be presented in both galleries. In the “Mała Biała” Gallery, we will present designer forms made of ceramic material, while in the “Galeria w sam raz” visitors will be able to see ceramic sculptures created during the International Ceramic and Sculpture Open-Air Workshops in Bolesławiec, as well as works donated by artists cooperating with the centre.
The exhibition will also feature paintings from the collection by: Anna Nosowicz, Jerzy Rosołowicz, Alfons Mazurkiewicz, Siegrfied Horst, Ksenija Pantelić and Andrzej Łączyński.
