Police officers from the Criminal Division of Police Station I in Jelenia Góra arrested a 30-year-old resident of Jelenia Góra suspected of a series of property-related crimes. Investigators determined that the man was responsible for at least 13 thefts and burglaries.
The suspect committed all the crimes in January this year. His main targets were bicycles, cables and other items that he considered to have some value. The 30-year-old sold the stolen goods for next to nothing. In total, the victims' losses amounted to several thousand złotys.
The Jelenia Góra resident admitted to the crime. He now faces up to 10 years in prison.
