His recital, or rather his stage performance, is a musical tale about the stirrings of human hearts. It tells of how every song is a cry for existence, how it is the language of the unheard, and how it is born only in a truly sensitive heart.
Maceradi draws from the immensely rich treasury of the most beautiful Russian romances, from folk works, and above all from the works of the greatest bards: Vysotsky, Okudzhava, Rozenbaum and Vertinsky. He touches the most sensitive strings of our consciences and recalls the golden age of song.
With his warm, captivating voice, he transports spellbound viewers into a world of forgotten experiences and delights, interweaving the songs with stories and conveying a fragment of the Russian soul to listeners with unparalleled mastery.
So let yourselves be led into a land where poems do not die because they become music, where simple words can sing out the whole truth about friendship, longing, love, the past and memory...
