Csárdás dances, waltzes, toasts, love arias and duets, operetta scenes, as well as jazz standards—in other words, the most famous scenes from the operas “La traviata”, “Lakmé”, “Carmen”, “The Tales of Hoffmann”, “Porgy and Bess” and many others. The charm of old Vienna is captured in the most beautiful duets and scenes from the operettas “The Csárdás Princess” and “Die Fledermaus”. The evening’s champagne atmosphere is complemented by colorful Neapolitan songs and famous standards from the repertoire of Italian singers. The whole performance is enriched with spoken commentary. The Carnival Gala, featuring artists from Vienna, Prague, Białystok and Wrocław, is an unforgettable evening in the land of the most beautiful melodies!

Its members regularly perform on important European stages, including Narodní Divadlo in Prague, the Warsaw Chamber Opera, Opera i Filharmonia Podlaska, Opera na Zamku in Szczecin, Piccola Opera in Vienna and many others. They are also prize-winners of international vocal competitions.

The Sonotrio International Opera Group has existed since March 2012 and already has around 60 concerts in Poland and abroad to its credit. With its Mozartiada project, the ensemble performed in Vienna and Wrocław, among other places. Around the turn of December and January in 2013 and 2014, Sonotrio organized a tour with a Carnival Gala around Lower Silesia, giving more than a dozen concerts to full houses, including at Chopin Manor in Duszniki-Zdrój, the Silesian Piast Castle in Brzeg and the Old Theatre in Bolesławiec. The ensemble also produced a number of outdoor events, including at Grodziec Castle and in the Lądek-Zdrój health resort.

In September 2013, the artists began performing in Germany as part of Lausitzer Rosengarten events. The group’s notable performances also include a special concert at Wrocław Town Hall, commissioned by the Culture Department of the Wrocław City Hall to mark the International Day of the Cursed Soldiers; two performances during Nowosolska Jesień Artystyczna, where the artists performed alongside Grupa MoCarta and the Arte dei Suonatori orchestra; and gala concerts as part of the International Outdoor Art Meetings in Żary and during PrzyLądka Muzyki in Lądek-Zdrój.

The ensemble’s immediate plans include a concert as part of the prestigious “Wieczory u Attavanich” series in Jarosław, as well as a series of 13 New Year’s Eve and New Year concerts in, among other places, Jelenia Góra, Bolesławiec, Ostrów Wielkopolski, Stalowa Wola, Krosno and Sandomierz. The artists have also received renewed invitations to festivals in Żary and Nowa Sól, with a new program devoted to music from films and musicals.
