From December 24 to 28, 21 collisions and 2 accidents occurred on the roads of the Jelenia Góra Valley (excessive speed was the most common cause of road incidents). Police officers caught 8 drunk drivers.
Moreover, officers seized the registration certificates of 32 vehicles and issued 143 fines for:
- causing a hazard in road traffic
- failure to comply with speed limits
- talking on a mobile phone while driving.
