Police officers detained a 22-year-old resident of Lubin suspected of possessing significant quantities of drugs. As it turned out, this summer the 22-year-old rented an apartment to grow Indian hemp there under domestic conditions.

The officers found more than 1,000 portions of marijuana and specialist equipment for growing the drug. What is more, the Lubin resident had already been convicted of this type of crime.

The man was remanded in custody for two months. Possession of a significant quantity of drugs is punishable by up to 8 years in prison. If it turns out that the 22-year-old traded in marijuana, he could spend as many as 10 years behind bars.
