The several-minute short film was shot for three months (sic!) and advertised as a film presenting five stories that intertwine and ultimately come together as a whole. Unfortunately, the film was not finished, and the recorded material was cut during editing; at the premiere, they showed... as much as there was—in practice, almost nothing.
A creator who respects the audience does not act this way, and those who allowed it deserve a serious reprimand. It would be good if Michał Szwed, head of the film studio, taught the participants to finish production down to the last detail and complete their projects. The unfinished short film deserved neither a premiere, nor the distribution of awards, nor praise.
It is a shame that the film was not made (and it is not known whether it will be), because the plot seemed engaging and the script had potential. The young director Paweł Klimek handled the actors excellently. The actors themselves (non-professionals) were very authentic in their roles.
Applause for the married businesspeople whose important contract deadline was “collapsing.” Anna Brandys and Mariusz Leśniak played the tension between the partners—anxiety and stress—excellently. Their roles were also well developed. Jacek Dudyński also performed perfectly as the company president. The role was particularly difficult because the president had no established personality, while Jacek gave him several authentic traits.
However, in my opinion, all the praise should go to Magdalena Średnicka. Spectacular, sincere, authentic. It was a great pleasure to watch her on screen. The very short role she played had power and was genuinely well constructed by a young and inexperienced actress.
