A meeting with the book’s author was held on December 15 at the Gminny Ośrodek Kultury i Sportu in Kruszyn. Sebastian Zielonka spoke about his work on the book “Kruszyn miejsce niezwykłe”. The meeting, hosted by Grażyna Wężyk from the library in Kruszyn, was attended by more than 150 people. Everyone received a free copy of the publication.
– The book takes the form of a story spanning from the earliest history to the present day. It is supported by a rich collection of photographs. It presents recent history connected with the lives of the residents – said Sebastian Zielonka at the meeting.
– What is extraordinary about this project is the residents’ involvement in creating the publication. Their time, stories and private photographs – without them, this book would not exist – said Andrzej Dutkowski, head of Gmina Bolesławiec.
The book was published thanks to financial support from the Gmina.
