The incident took place at the beginning of December. An unknown perpetrator broke into a detached house. The thief did not pass up anything: he stole porcelain, consumer electronics and household appliances, as well as other valuable items. The victim estimated the losses at nearly PLN 30,000.
The perpetrator turned out to be a 30-year-old resident of Lubin. The man was arrested and taken into police custody. Officers recovered some of the stolen property. The thief sold the remaining items and used the money for his own needs and to repay debts.
The 30-year-old now faces up to 10 years in prison.
