The director of the short film made by first-year students of Bolesławiec Film School in cooperation with BOK-MCC is Bartłomiej Muszyński, the cinematography was handled by Marcel Saciela, editing was done by Michał Szwed (BOK-MCC Film Workshop), and the sound was handled by Marek Przybyła.
– This is our school’s first film – said Michał Szwed at the premiere. – And it is a historic moment: today, the students will see their work on screen for the first time. They held a camera, acted, and worked on the film’s sound and lighting for the first time. The film lasts seven minutes, but believe me, making it took much longer. I thank the parents for their vote of confidence and want to say: you have wonderful, talented kids – added the group’s supervisor.
The students of the Film School told the story of a group of pupils who came to school for Saturday classes. It was frightening and funny. The students acted with sensitivity, and the short film turned out to be a fairly successful production. One of the roles was played by the school’s headmaster, Zdzisław Czyżowicz, who, as it turned out, is a great fan of chocolate cookies. Szymon Wasylów also had a very funny episode in the film, laboriously memorising German phrases in the bathroom. The video will certainly appeal to young people, who, despite being beginners, displayed great ease and no stage fright at the premiere.
Ewa Lijewska-Małachowska, director of BOK-MCC, was also pleased with the cooperation. She congratulated the students on their first production and encouraged them to take part in classes at the film workshop at CIK Orzeł.
