14,394 people voted for him. His opponent Jarosław Rabczanko received 10,597 votes. A total of 24,991 people voted.
Ladies and Gentlemen,
I would like to sincerely thank you for all the votes cast for me in the local elections and for entrusting me once again with the position of mayor of Legnica. I thank everyone who took part in the elections and demonstrated that they care about the development of Our City. I am immensely grateful for all the kind words and gestures of support. It means a great deal to me that you trusted me, believed in me and expressed it on Sunday at the ballot boxes, as well as in everyday conversations—both face to face and through emails and messages sent via social media. I received many signs of your affection, which are very important to me.
I assure you that over the next four years I will work diligently, reliably and honestly to prove to you that the choice you made was the right one. I declare my willingness to cooperate across divisions and believe that now, with the election campaign over, the most important thing will be working together for the good of Legnica and its residents. I am convinced that a demanding period lies ahead of us, but we are ready to take on challenges and shape the best possible future for Our City, because Legnica is our shared concern!
