The thieves arrested by the Bolesławiec police were six men aged between 16 and 25. They stole drain grates and manhole covers from roads and a motorway near Bolesławiec. They sold the items they obtained at two scrap metal collection points in Bolesławiec. It is not yet known how many drivers suffered because of the holes left by the thieves. The gang was proven to have committed 70 thefts across five counties.
