The incident took place on November 21, at approximately 10:49 p.m., at the 35th kilometre of the A4 motorway, heading towards Wrocław. The Audi driver hit the rear of a trailer belonging to a MAN truck travelling correctly. The owner of the passenger car was taken to hospital with multiple injuries and fractures.
Two fire service units from the State Fire Service District Headquarters in Bolesławiec, as well as volunteer firefighters from Nowogrodziec and Czerna, took part in the operation.
