This time, taking users’ suggestions into account, ladders, rings and parallel bars for advanced users were installed. The facility was officially accepted on 21 November. It is managed by the Sports and Recreation Centre.
Let us recall that in summer, the municipality built the first equipment in the Street Workout Park next to the skatepark. Legnica residents who used it asked for the facilities to be expanded further with equipment for more advanced users. That is what happened. The additional work cost more than PLN 35,000.
In the summer of this year, a modern gym with equipment for a wide range of exercises was built in Bielański Park. Right next to it, there is also a beautiful playground for children. Last year, one of the most modern skateparks in the country was opened to users; it immediately became a mecca for extreme sports enthusiasts. They come here from all over the country and from abroad because they have excellent conditions for training and recreation.
Additional investments in this area have expanded the leisure and recreation offer for further groups. A modern sports, recreation, play and leisure complex, welcoming to residents, has been created.
