Of the PLN 310,200 that Legnica spent on these purposes in 2013, the costs included business trips by employees of many municipal budgetary units, not just officials, as the publications clearly suggest. The trips were related, among other things, to training, professional development, corporate meetings and international partner exchanges.

The municipality spent PLN 78,900 on trips abroad. Officials from the town hall accounted for only a small part of these costs. Their trips amounted to just approximately PLN 9,800. Employees of many other municipal budgetary units also travelled, including schools, care and education facilities and MOPS, as well as members of the Municipal Council, who are not officials.

Teachers, who were also not officials, made the most foreign trips. They came from five Legnica schools and carried out European Comenius and Leonardo cooperation and youth-exchange projects. The cost was approximately PLN 66,000, and the money came from EU funds.
