As Urszula Ganske, chair of the Legnica Municipal Disability Assessment Board, reports, according to earlier announcements, cards issued before 1 July 2014 were to remain valid until 30 November this year. However, the legislator extended this deadline to 30 June 2015. Therefore, each person holding one of these cards will only have to apply for a new one after this deadline has passed.
Parking cards for people with disabilities issued under the new regulations after 1 July 2014 are valid for a maximum of five years. This period may be shorter. Around 300 such documents have already been issued in Legnica this year.
