The consortium that won the tender has signed an agreement with the county. It is valid until April 30 next year.
Under the agreement, the contractor is required to maintain proper road and street passability by clearing snow, combating slippery conditions and black ice, providing on-call duty with equipment and transport ready, and cleaning up sand left over from winter road maintenance.
The agreement is effective from the date it was signed; if the weather changes to winter conditions, the contractor will begin carrying out the agreement.
