The children presented several events from the history of our country. They presented the kings of Poland: Bolesław Chrobry and Jagiełło. The children recited poems, held conversations about their feelings for their homeland, sang songs and danced the “Trojaka.” Older students brought in the school flag. The Mazurka of Dąbrowski rang out beautifully in the hall. The ceremony was attended by Deputy Mayor Kornel Filipowicz, Danuta Topolska (Parents’ Council), and the headmistress of MZS No. 3, Irena Sikora- Kołodyńska. The guests thanked the students for the assembly and the brief history lesson.
