The Orły Skalne troop has existed for 8 years. It currently has 15 members of middle-school age. The scouts invite all their peers on a hike through Bolesławiec, whose aim is to reach interesting corners of the city. The hike will take place on Saturday, March 25. Meeting point: 10:50 a.m. beneath the Millennium Cross.
“We hope that after Saturday’s meeting, our troop will gain new members,” says Natalia Michalik, leader of Orły Skalne. The hike will be led by Zdzisław Abramowicz, commander of the Szare Szeregi Scout District. The commander has extensive knowledge of the history of the city and its surroundings. Every two weeks, he prepares the program “Discovering History” for local television.
