Saving the art of letter writing from oblivion – this is the idea behind the organizers of the “Letter” literary competition. The theme of this year’s edition was “A Letter to a Friend” – its interpretation was left to the participants. The Szczecin branch of the Polish Writers’ Association provided patronage for the event. The letters were assessed by a competition committee consisting of: Róża Czerniawska-Karcz, Katarzyna Chabowska and Rafał Podraza. A total of 522 letters were submitted.

The awards ceremony for the winners – combined with an author meeting with Róża Czerniawska-Karcz and Rafał Podraza – will take place on 28 November (Friday) in the conference room of the Municipal Culture and Sports Centre in Kruszyn, the event’s organizer. It begins at 6:00 p.m..
