This year’s competition included 164 hostels open all year round and 40 seasonal facilities. The Legnica hostel was recognized alongside facilities from cities such as Kraków, Warszawa, Wrocław, Szczecin, Zakopane, Olsztyn, Łódź and Białystok.
The competition aims to encourage facilities to create the best possible conditions for guests in terms of equipment, sanitary and technical standards, leisure activities, tourist and local-history information, and culture.
The distinction is a success for the hostel, but also good promotion for our city, as its tourist attractions were presented in the competition and appreciated by the judges.
