Students from the first-, second- and third-grade classes travelled with invited guests to the land of fairy tales and stories on October 28. This recurring event in the life of the school is hugely popular among both students and children.
Those taking part in the event included: deputy mayor Kornela Filipowicza, director of the Municipal Economic and Administrative Centre for preschools Joanna Bartkowiak, president of the District Board of the Polish Red Cross Zbigniew Herbut, head of CIK “Orzeł” Jacek Dudyński, president of the Sports Club Adam Fornal and Istotne.pl journalist Grażyna Hanaf. The children were visited by Beata Łuczkowska from the District Police Headquarters and Dorota Liebert from the Municipal Police.
During the event, held in a sports hall beautifully decorated with posters, drawings and cheerful slogans, the children posed riddles to the guests. Three teams of adults had to guess which fairy-tale characters the children had prepared rhymes, songs and mini-dramas about. The guests danced with the children, “hitchhiked” to other lands, played along to songs and listened to a poem by Jan Brzechwa read by Paulinka, a third-grade student.
It was cheerful, colourful and joyful. The students and adults showed that they read and know fairy tales and stories. The event was prepared by teachers Monika Grzyb and Małgorzata Oleś. The students demonstrated their knowledge of fairy tales, creativity, courage and ability to cooperate during the shared activities.
