The match between MKS Bobrzanie and FSV Budissa Bautzen took place last Wednesday. The teams met at a football training centre in Bautzen. The game was played under artificial lighting. The opening minutes belonged to the Bolesławiec side. Their advantage was confirmed by a goal. Radomir Kurianowicz was the first player to get on the scoresheet. Bobrzanie had a chance to extend their lead, but Adrian Kulesza failed to take a good opportunity to score. As the match progressed, the game became more even and the hosts gradually gained the upper hand. They demonstrated this by scoring two goals. The Bautzen players remained on top until the end of the first half.

Several reserve players appeared for Bobrzanie in the second half. Coach Artur Kwiatkowski tried various tactical approaches. The intended effect was partially achieved. Evidence of this was the equalising goal for the Bolesławiec side, scored by Jarek Naskręt. Unfortunately, fatigue increasingly troubled our players. Near the end of the second half, the Germans scored their third goal following one of their counterattacks. The score did not change before the final whistle. Despite the 2–3 defeat, Bobrzanie played a good match. Their opponents were very demanding. The Bautzen players are leaders of the German district league. This was the first match in the history of the Bolesławiec club against a team from abroad.
