The “Wonderland” in the title is a world of European fairy tales and legends—extraordinary stories that shape people from their earliest years and show the struggle between good and evil for the human soul. As part of the project, three groups of students presented well-known fairy tales on the stage of CIK Orzeł: “The Three Little Pigs,” “Snow White” and “Pinocchio.” The version of the story about the three little pigs featured interesting contemporary music. The wolf attacked the pigs’ houses to the accompaniment of “Sympathy For The Devil” by The Rolling Stons.

Working in groups at their respective schools, the project participants prepared multimedia presentations and films, which were shown to their fellow students. The “Wonderland” project is co-financed by the European Union במסגרת the ERASMUS+ programme and implemented in cooperation with the Municipality of Bolesławiec. The Mayor praised the school’s use of EU funds.

“This was the only project of this type submitted by municipalities,” said Piotr Roman. “And thanks to the fact that it was selected, we can meet here today in the audience of Orzeł. I would like to thank everyone involved in the project for their creative approach, ideas and commitment. When you return home, please send our greetings to our friends, because I know that Poles and the people of Bolesławiec have many friends in Italy,” the Mayor told the guests from Acuto and Vallecorsa.

Each project participant received an educational memory game about Bolesławiec. The gifts were handed out by Irena Sikora-Kołodyńska, head of MZS No. 3; the deputy mayor for education, Kornel Filipowicz; and the project coordinators representing the City Hall, Krzysztof Hewak and Krzysztof Jakubczyc.
