The Bolesławiec County Office invites county residents, schools, non-governmental organizations, parishes and institutions cooperating with volunteers to nominate people, companies or organizations whom they would like to thank for their selflessness, commitment and kindness.
The next edition of the “Bolesławiec County Volunteer of the Year” competition is getting underway. This honorary title will be awarded to those who stand out in volunteer work in various areas of life—including culture, sport, social assistance, health promotion, ecology, tourism and activities supporting people with disabilities. The competition is held in four categories: adult volunteer, youth volunteer, non-governmental organization and donor.
Applications must be submitted by November 14 of this year at the headquarters of the Bolesławiec County Office (Submission Office, room 1 in the “round building”) with the note “2014 Bolesławiec County Volunteer of the Year”.
When evaluating candidates for the title of “2014 Bolesławiec County Volunteer of the Year,” the committee will take particular account of:
- commitment to volunteer work
- innovation in activities
- ability to cooperate
- frequency and consistency of activities
- effectiveness and efficiency of the work
- ability to involve and encourage other people to participate in volunteer work.
