A tournament was held in Brzeźnik, with enthusiastic cheering from the stands, during which more than 100 goals were scored. Among the supporters were the families and friends of the young footballers, as well as Mayor Andrzej Dutkowski, whose cup was at stake.

Seven teams took part in the sporting competition: Czarni Lwówek, Kusy Bolesławiec, COMT Bolesławiec I and II, Sparta Zebrzydowa, and the hosts, KS Talent Bolesławiec I and II. KS Talent and Kusy Bolesławiec stood out most among them. Their match ended in a goalless draw. Both teams won all their remaining matches, so the winner was determined by the number of goals scored. Kusy’s players scored 29, but the boys from KS Talent scored one more, making them the winners of the tournament. Czarni Lwówek’s players finished third.

Every player received commemorative medals, presented by Andrzej Dutkowski and Deputy Mayor Roman Jaworski. The three best teams earned beautiful trophies. Tymon Gajewski of KS Talent II received individual honors and the title of best goalkeeper. Tymek had his hands full, and apparently no one doubted that he was in excellent form that day. Tymon Guszpil was named the best player. Maciej Maciejun of KS Talent became the top scorer, with 10 goals.

The tournament was the idea of Krystian Miżdal. Congratulations to the young athletes.
