Residents are already pleased that the reconstruction of Oś Kartuska will begin soon. “This is a very necessary investment in our housing estate,” says Grzegorz Jarosz. “We are especially pleased that parking spaces and a pavement will be built.”
The contract tender for the reconstruction of Oś Kartuska, on the section from the intersection with ul. Neptuna to ul. Marsa, was won by Skanska, which offered the lowest price—PLN 550,946.34 gross.
There is currently an old asphalt-paved promenade on this section of the street. After the reconstruction, a new asphalt roadway with parking spaces and a pavement surfaced with concrete paving blocks will be built.
The reconstruction of Oś Kartuska is another road investment in the Kopernik housing estate. Construction work on Moniuszki, Galaktyczna and Plutona is currently nearing completion.
