After the snow melts, sand remains on pavements and driveways leading to properties. It should be swept into one place along the edge of the pavement. From there, it will be collected by municipal services. Property owners should also clean up the area belonging to them. The collected waste will also be removed by municipal services.
The obligation to clean up properties follows from the Act on Maintaining Cleanliness and Order in Municipalities, as well as from a resolution of the Bolesławiec City Council concerning the principles of maintaining cleanliness and order within the city of Bolesławiec. If a property owner fails to comply with the above obligations, they may be fined.
