Jelenia Góra is a beautiful city with a rich and fascinating history. It is worth learning about its past and becoming acquainted with the architecture of bygone years. The photographs below show Cieplicka Street, which before World War II consisted of several streets in Sobieszów and Cieplice.

In 1977, after the cities were merged, a unified Cieplicka Street was created, with very interesting buildings, including hotels, guesthouses and modest houses.

The preserved photographs and postcards show us what the city looked like at the end of the 19th century and in the first half of the 20th century.
