On Saturday, 25 October, at 12:15 p.m., a theatrical performance will take place in the Forum auditorium. The last available seats are waiting. Tickets priced at 12 zlotys can be purchased at the Forum cinema box office.
The Japanese fairy tale “The Royal Sparrow” tells us that we should be kind to the weaker, not hurt others and give everyone another chance. The engaging plot is brought to life by catchy songs written by Tomasz Walczak.
The performance offers an introduction to Japanese puppet theatre, known as bunraku, which dates back to the 17th century. The animated puppets stand out for their extraordinary beauty and are operated by three actors working in harmony, which requires exceptional precision and artistry.
The set design was prepared by Joanna Hrk, the music was composed by Tomasz Walczak, and the choreography was created by Małgorzata Fijałkowska. The cast includes: Dorota Fluder, Lidia Lisowicz, Katarzyna Morawska, Rafał Ksiądzyna, Sylwester Kuper and Jacek Maksimowicz.
