On 1 October 2014, at the Zgorzelec Civil Registry Office, Mr and Mrs Krystyna and Kazimierz Miszczyk celebrated their golden wedding anniversary. This beautiful jubilee provided an opportunity to honour them with the Medal for Long Marital Life, awarded by the President of the Republic of Poland to couples who have spent fifty years in a lasting relationship. The decoration ceremony for the golden couple from Zgorzelec was conducted by Mayor Rafał Gronicz, who wished the jubilarians health, joy, love and many successes in their continued life together.
