A Ghanaian citizen was detained by officers from the Wrocław-Strachowice post. During the inspection, it was established that the 34-year-old man did not have documents authorizing him to stay in Poland. He showed the officers a document that was supposed to confirm that he was staying legally... in Italy. However, the inspectors quickly established that the Italian residence card was also not authentic. Criminal proceedings were initiated against him.
Ukrainian citizens were detained by officers from Tuplice, Legnica, Kalisz and Zgorzelec. The detainees came to Poland using visas issued for employment, but none of them took up lawful employment. The visas were used for a different purpose and were cancelled. The Ukrainians will have to leave Poland within several days.
The Belarusian woman was detained in Kudowa-Zdrój by officers from Kłodzko. The woman entered Poland without documents authorizing her to enter and stay in the country. Since the illegal border crossing took place from the Czech Republic, the foreign national will, in accordance with the Polish-Czech agreement, be handed over to the Czech side under the readmission procedure.
