Festival classes and presentations are conducted by academic teachers, specialists and practitioners representing various fields and disciplines of science – psychology, physics, medicine, engineering, art history and tourism.

25 September (Building E – Room E 3):
- 9:00–10:00 – The Astonishing Career of Water and Air Machines in the Age of Information Technology (Dr Eng. Krzysztof Kędzia). An interactive lecture for prospective engineers presenting the world of water-powered (hydraulic) and air-powered machines in our everyday lives and in industrial conditions. It shows the role of modern information technologies in the development of these seemingly classical machines and devices, on which the development of civilisation now depends, for example in the fields of energy, transport and bioengineering
- 10:00–11:00 – Medicines from the Home Medicine Cabinet: Honey and Bee Products (MEng Ewelina Dymarska, Dr Eng. Małgorzata Janczar-Smuga, Prof. Dr Eng. Jerzy J. Pietkiewicz). Bee products, as well as the discipline developed around them, are of enormous interest to the scientific community. Today, apitherapy holds a significant position among modern treatment methods. Honey and propolis are among the most valuable products used to treat internal and external ailments
- 11:00–12:00 – Basic Resuscitation Procedures for Adults and Children Using an AED (MA Aleksander Mickiewicz, MA Aleksandra Wysowska). A presentation of the causes and symptoms of sudden cardiac arrest in adults and children. Discussion of procedures for an unconscious person. Demonstration of procedures on a mannequin using an AED. Participants will actively take part in exercises on the mannequin
- 12:00–13:00 – Lower Silesia – The Atlantis of the 20th Century (MA Dariusz Wędzina). The meeting will explore the lost world of Lower Silesia’s centuries-old cultural heritage. The causes and effects of these changes will be discussed. The lecture will be based on extensive visual material.
26 September (Building E – Room E 3):
- 9:00–10:00 – Alcohol and Its Paths to the Mind (Dr Joanna Żółtańska, Dr Waldemar Michalczak). A lecture on the history of alcohol and its effects on the human body in the context of health risks and addiction
- 10:00–11:00 – When Setting Out on a Tourist Trail, Let Us Take Care of Our Health (Dr Waldemar Michalczak, Dr Joanna Żółtańska). The lecture covers safety rules during tourism activities, particularly active tourism
- 11:00–12:00 – What Language Does Architecture Speak to Us? (MA Dariusz Wędzina). The lecture will address the universal language of architecture, learning which makes it possible to read architecture like an open book, regardless of where an architectural object is located. The continuity of certain forms and their universalism across different stylistic periods will be shown. An attempt will be made to reveal the semantic codes used by architects and clients
- 12:00–13:00 – Influencing People from a Sociological Perspective – Dr Jarosław Zagrobelny. The lecture, intended for adults and upper-secondary school students, concerns influencing people within the field of sociology.
