Children and young people participating in classes for the workshop’s three groups—Promyki, Nocturn and Modus—told the story of Bolesławiec ceramics through dance, spanning the centuries. The performance featured, among other things, the famous Joppe’s pot, the wartime period, work in communist factories and, finally, the present day.
The dancers’ perfectly chosen costumes, the imaginative and expertly executed set design and, above all, the fantastic music, as well as the spectacular and flawlessly performed choreography, made the production utterly absorbing. The performance was created by the workshop’s director, Halina Bałacka – Kłak, who developed the script and choreography and prepared the young dancers wonderfully. After the performance, she received thanks for her excellent work from Bolesławiec Mayor Piotr Roman, City Council Chairman Józef Pokładek and Ewa Lijewska - Małachowska, Director of BOK-MCC.
The technical production of the performance was handled by: sound editing—Piotr Gnyszka; set design and props—Waldemar Cieślak and Dorota Berdzik; lighting—Leszek Rzepka. The performance was dedicated to all ceramics producers and employees involved in its production.
